While our main emphasis is to offer laundering and hygiene services, other positive outcomes have occurred. Due to our volunteers’ generosity and efforts, clients have found jobs, received dentures, connected with families, and secured housing through external programs beyond Clean Start.

DSS has teamed with Clean Start by providing a visiting social worker to research client needs. Services include assistance with obtaining birth certificates, food stamps, Medicaid eligibility, Social Security and Disability Benefits, and referrals.
